Ms. Park's practice encompasses client counseling, patent procurement, and litigation matters in the biotechnological, chemical, and mechanical arts. She counsels clients in all aspects of patent law and intellectual property matters, including strategic development of intellectual property assets, preparation and prosecution of patent applications, due diligence reviews of intellectual property assets, evaluations of the patentability of inventions, and the preparation of non-infringement and invalidity opinions. She also has experience obtaining, defending and asserting trademark rights on a global basis. She joined Mayer & Williams PC as Of Counsel in 2004 and became Partner in 2005.

Ms. Park began her legal career in 1995 as a summer associate at the New York patent firm of Cooper & Dunham LLP, where she was responsible for preparing and prosecuting patents for inventions in the areas of gene therapy, biomedical engineering, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. In 1997, she joined the Boston office of Hale and Dorr LLP (now Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP) as a patent attorney in the Intellectual Property department. She was promoted to junior partnership in 2001.

She has extensive experience in matters in the fields of chemistry, biotechnology and medical devices. She has prepared and prosecuted applications and has been involved in litigation relating to semiconductor processing, specialty chemicals, polymer chemistry, drug delivery systems, superconductors, adhesives, combinatorial chemistry, coatings, catalytic reactors, pharmaceuticals, food engineering, osmotic membranes, microfluidic devices, vaccines, antisense technology, tissue engineering, orthopedic implants, super-elastic guide wires, and catheters.

She evaluates and protects her clients' intellectual property assets and provides strategic advice for building strong intellectual property portfolios.
